The Digital Security Resource Directory is a Security in-a-Box project, maintained by Front Line Defenders and available at https://dir.securityinabox.org. It is a curated digital security and protection resources directory for human rights defenders, journalists, activists, and communities at risk, built from the original work of Gus Andrews.
The directory was designed by Kumquat Co, a women-led design consultancy based in Cape Town, South Africa, with the support of Open Technology Fund's Impact & Engagement Lab.
The Digital Security Resource Directory is a crowdsourced platform. Users can find resources based on region, topic, audience, language, and year last updated. They can also propose edits to description of existing resources, submit new resources, comment, or flag inadequate entries.
